2011: Looking Forward

Rachel Bilson, Blake Lively, Lea Michele, and Carey Mulligan win the title of 2010’s best dressed stars. These ladies were not only breakout stars on the screen, but on the fashion scene as well. 2010 was an amazing montage of fashion hits as we watched each girl come into her own as a respected fashionista. All with their own daring & distinct style, I look forward to what they do in 2011.

At midnight on New Years Eve, Lady Gaga made an announcement the whole world was eagerly anticipating: her new album, Born This Way, will drop on May 23, 2011 and its first single will hit radio airwaves on February 13. I am really, really, really excited to see how the ever-controversial star plans to top what she’s already done, and hear some of the new material when I see her live in March.

Olivia Palermo is easily one of 2010’s best-dressed breakout fashionistas. This past year, she has been snapped all over NYC showcasing her innate fashion sense in her trademark mix of high and low-end pieces. Palermo has announced a new reality series that will follow her as she creates her debut clothing line. For fans of Olivia’s look, this is certainly a collection to look forward to in 2011.

Reese Witherspoon and Natalie Portman got engaged this holiday season. Nicole Richie and Hilary Duff’s nuptials were the highlights of wedding fashion in 2010, and now I can’t wait to see what Witherspoon and Portman come up with as they start to plan their big days. These two are always fashionable on the red-carpet and the street – I’m sure these brides will be nothing less than stunning & inspired.

ELLE Canada’s February cover features Dianna Agron, one of the talented faces (and voices) who has catapulted into Hollywood fame thanks to Glee – the ultimate (non) guilty pleasure of 2010. Highlights of the year: Gwyneth Paltrow, Darren Criss (Blaine), and any time they sang a Bruno Mars song. I can’t wait for what Mr Shue, Sue Sylvester, and the kids have in store for us in 2011.

What are YOU most looking forward to??
