MTV’s The After Show host Jessi Cruickshank has teamed up with everyone’s favourite reality TV stars, Lauren Conrad, Whitney Port, Lo Bosworth and Audrina Patridge, as well as fashion icon Jeanne Beker, in an effort to raise money for Free The Children.
The ladies have donated their favourite high-profile party dresses to an online auction where YOU can place bids and walk away with your own favourite. Check out http://mtv.ca/mydress and click on E-Bay; you’ll find tons of celeb dresses up for auction, all for a good cause.
All week Jessi has been posting Twit-pics of her wearing the dresses she’s donated including the zipper-embellished dress she wore on the “Goodbye Lauren” After Show, made by Project Aftershow winner Ranee Weselak, a lovely Jay Godfrey dress she wore for a Verve Girl Magazine spread, a vintage Dolce & Gabanna dress worn on the red carpet of the MTV Movie Awards, and a jewel encrusted BROSE dress.
Click here for an interview with Jessi to get a more in-depth look at the initiative. Underneath all the glitz, glamour and ironic wit that we see every week on The Aftershow, there really lies a heart of gold.
The bidding closes on November 17th. May the best bid win!
